Are Affordable Legal Services and Profitable Business Practices Mutually Exclusive?
The short answer: not a chance. At Melanie D. Flynn Law Office, we recognize that a large portion of the population falls into the middle class economic status and therefore, make too much money to qualify for Legal Aid but too little to afford traditional full representation by a lawyer. Thus, the majority of our community are not able to "access" legal services. This concept of inaccessibility is commonly known in the legal community as the Access to Justice Crisis. Many legal professionals believe to do their part they must occasionally offer free legal representation, also known as pro bono services. However, this is not the only way, nor is it a sustainable way, to combat this crisis.
Our Firm strives to provide a viable solution to this crisis in our community that is both accessible to the public and a profitable business model for law firms. Hence, our founder, Melanie D. Flynn, a Gander native, created the A2J Practice Model and we are now ready to roll this out to the community.
